Tigray is located in the Northern part of Ethiopia and has this amazing tradition called Ashenda

Ashenda is all about women. It is a colorful girls’ festival that is celebrated every year in August. Those days will give freedom to the ladies. They go out and celebrated it with dance, laughter, and love. They will put this amazing traditional cloth, different hairstyles and jewelry that will put absolute beauty on them. Ashenda is a fest that represents Freedom, Culture, and Love.
